Oh, Such A Cold Day Today

Oh, today was cold. Beyond cold, my dearies. And what's worst; it was pj day at school. Dear lord, I've never seen so many footy pajamas in my life! I never knew they were so popular in junior high schools. None the less, chil-ay weather kills 'lil ole' me. :)

Talk about X-mas spirit, the drama and Glee clubs at our school preformed a dress rehearsal of A Christmas Carol during third period. Better than the movie, I'd say. The glee club at school sung X-mas carols and smiled and danced. Oh so adorable when the got the seventh grade shorty Jack K. to say Tiny Timmy's line at the dinner table. Oh, so adorable. Almost as cute as the boy who said it. ;)

We wish you...a merry Christmas...ad a ha-aaappy New Year! A week and five days 'till Crhristmas. Get ready world!

New Banner, Did'ja notice?

Yeah! I finally created a banner, resembling my wishes and things most important two me. Right now, however, the two peas currently in the pod are myself and Tina, the adventurous Syrian Hamster. ;) Love you, Tina! But I do love my banner. Very much, actually.

Currently, this young lady is swamped with Stargirl  by Jerry Spinelli project homework. Damn. Why must I procrastinate with such things? Can you guys tell me? Do you have any tips to provide a horrid procrastinating seventh grader? This is NOT gonna be a good trait to have later on down the road, lemme tell 'ya that. :/ But it is my fault, I DID have a week and a half to prepare for this project turn in date. But Mrs. Michel did just dump it on the class and yell; be free chicky-doodles!

Sigh. Old news. :/ Yesterday...lets think. Ah, here's my list of things I attended to as of yesterday afternoon;

Cleaned dresser
Organized binder
Practiced tap
Planning the knitting cycle I will have to go through in order to finish the family's scarf order
Yell at Samuel
Freak out over not going to get milk
Vaccum
Do dishes
Freak out some more
Get banned from the computer (which I am obviously not any longer)
Aaaaand.....yep, that's it. :)

Glee, glee, glee! Glee should have a theme song, don't you think? Oh, you don't watch it? No! That's my favorite show currently on TV. I am planning to watch it on Hulu later, but I must babysit Mia at 6:30, so I have to 5-year old-proof the house. Sigh once more. I'm boiling eggs. Bleh!

Introduction

Ok, so, I tried refraining from posting one post everyday, but it's IMPOSSIBLE! Ugh,  have no will power. But ANYWAY... Onto my topic for today's blog.

Well; this is why.
"Why is this girl so doggy obsessed when she doesn't even  have a puppy or dog yet?"

When I was little, whenever I would beg and plead for a puppy of my own, my parents would say; "No, Olivia, sweety. Maybe when you're older." And I did get a dog, "When I was older." Well, sort of.

When I got my dog that I had so desperately wanted for so long, I was in Kindergarten, which, if you think about  it, I had asked for a dog when I was two, so in three years, I was glad to have a puppy. But I never had a puppy before, so this dog was mainly trained by my mother and father, and was fed and loved by myself and my younger twin. But my father eventually moved out, and took my beloved doggy pal with me, just before my 8th birthday. And now, after not having seen this puppy friend for a little over four years, I'm readily prepared and capable of caring fo my own puppy.

But...there's one set-back to this. In our apartments there's an $800 pet fee! And no dog can be over 75lbs. *tsk tsk* And THAT my friends, is why we must wait until we move into a house...this summer. >_<

And then, I thought; "Well mom, why don't we just get a smaller dog?" And slapped my forhead. I think she might've been adverse to getting a smaller dog at first because she envisioned bringing home a 2 pound yorkie named Twinkles. But we still have to wait for the big move! Blah, this is gonna be one long road. :)

Welcome

Yeah, I'll admit. I'm one of those people that's gonna have a blog about their dog. I've been surfing the internet and doing so much research on how to raise a dog, I figure that this might be a good way to consolidate my thoughts and all that I've read and will read in the next few months (and beyond), as well as a way to share my knowledge with the rest of the internet-viewing world.

So I guess if you've got a puppy (or a dog that was once a puppy, or you're just puppy obsessed like me), this blog'll be a good thing to read. Not to mention I can post adorable pictures of dogs and puppies! :D Yay!

Oh...but there's just one thing I may have forgotten to mention...I don't even have a puppy yet! Since I'm still in school, and so is my brother, we don't exactly have the time to raise and teach a puppy, which is essentially like a furry baby who can't talk. So uh... hahaha, yeah.

And my moms' in school to train as a Dental Hygenist, so she can't watch the puppy either. And she isn't going to be the one training and taking care of this dog. Nope, it's gonna be aaaaaaall me. :) But that's ok, because I know how to care for dogs. I used to own a Chocolate Labrador named Mister Brown Sugar, but now he lives with my dad and his deat-beat girlfriend. That was undoubtly the sweetest dog I have ever known. So I know lots about raising a young dog...but not a puppy. *Shrug* I just need some research on different breeds...this could take a while. :/

But this also means; I won't have any pictures of my dog for at least six, seven, maybe eight months max. But hey...it'll be worth the wait...won't it?
